After all this time, why the permission to use Magnum?

I think the use of the Samurai Edge should be allowed, just like the knife category

I think the Samurai Edge would give you less attack power than the Magnum, but more power than the early handguns so you could get a reasonable time out of it

I think a Samurai Edge would save me the trouble of getting a magnum and would reduce the clear time

I think the magnum was allowed since ammo is an issue once you get to Labs, especially on standard. The magnum helps with the hunters and waste nemmy is really tanky with the handgun. The clocktower fight is quite time consuming and uses up a lot of ammo, I'd imagine the waste nemmy fight with a handgun would take longer than the detour to get the magnum also. Samurai Edge wasn't allowed because it's an NG+ item

It's a good run as is, definitely doesn't need rule changes
