Welcome to MLK8DSTATFB! I swear I won't use that acronym again. So, Logan Kart 8 Deluxe is, needless to say, a hard game for beginners. So, I've created some tips to follow if you wanna speedrun the game! Just know that these aren't OBJECTIVELY right, just my opinions! ;)
- Don't purple mini-turbo
I learned early on that the purple mini-turbo is EXTREMELY inefficient (at least compared to the orange and white mini-turbos). Instead of doing a purple mini-turbo, try to go for two orange mini-turbos, or even a white mini-turbo if you have enough space! :p
- The meta is simple
The meta of the game is simple. Speedee in the Maserghini. But if you want some setups which stick out from the crowd, you can use these combos:
Robert in the Maserghini
Walogan in the Maserghini
Nagol in the Maserghini
Robert in the Standard Kart (for tight tracks like Miserable Rainy Stage)
Floshingdo in the Standard Kart (for Anarchy skips) :D
- Work up the speeds
If you start with 120cc, don't instantly go to Anarchy. You can instead progress up the speeds, getting better and more used to faster speeds as you practise. :)
- Work with strategies
Even if you don't want to, you should first check out the strategy of the track before going for a record. These following tracks will have a massive time difference if you do the strategy instead of normally playing it:
Edwin Speedway
Clogan Circuit
I-5 Loop
Offshore Platform
Notreal
Refracted Light Boulevard(?)
Motel 4 (?)
Tourist Destination :O
