According to everyone on the leaderboard, they are using the PAL version of the game. I'm using the PAL ROM, however in my practising I noticed especially how much slower Charlie took to get in the car (About 1min 2secs in from starting the mission, loading etc.) compared to everyone else.

Then I realised that there is no trademark symbol on every instance of 'The Italian Job' like everyone else.

Everyone on the leaderboard (apart from PurpleSunDeryl who does use the PAL version, and explains the 'faster emulated times') should have their runs changed to NTSC version on the leaderboard.

Wow, good spot. That's interesting PAL doesn't have trademarks (just checked my case, disc, and manual and they're not on there) but NTSC does.
I was quite dumb to put faster times down as just emulation loading times and not NTSC vs PAL.

Side note: what version of ePSXe are you using and what graphics plug-in? Never been able to see the loading screen on emulator

So this is to all PS1 emulator runners for this game, as I have been watching footage back from runs many years ago set by myself and Shoegaze (The other runner competing for WR alongside myself) I have spotted that the game is running at near enough full fps without any or very little slowdown.
