Very risky to go into the final mission without armor and/or very little health. Slower to get the armor in the restaurant, but it's worth it. Preserving armor beforehand would also work, but that can be tricky. Regardless, this video shows how to handle these missions as best I know at the moment. Driving in there with a car guns blazing is super risky. You'll rip too easily.

This might also be a second or so faster than the old strat. What happens is, you seem to warp to the first available platform above you at the location where you hit the trigger.

Calling someone before the final van blows up will skip the NPC dialogue and save 2-3 seconds.
