Hey guys and gals, I'm super new to speed-running and I'm a old man (31) so any tips and tricks or easy speedruns to get started on would be much appreciated and glad to be a part of something here :)

Welcome! It's awesome to see a new runners in town. The best advice that i can give you is to speedrun any games that you enjoy casually. To begin, try to speedrun any misc or shorter category that exist in some games (ex. Minecraft, Roblox, Web Games) or any short-duration games that doesn't need that much preparations (other than being speedy).

Other than that, hope you'll enjoy speedrunning your first game! :)
