I am not a speedrunner but I stumbled across a way to get OOB on Io in a Lost Sector. I recorded some video and took some screenshots.

Would this be helpful to anyone trying to do a speedrun? If so I can upload vids/pics.

Alright sorry for the delay. I finally got around to trimming the video down. I don't see a way to upload videos here so I'll get it on Youtube in the next couple of days. The OOB zone is in the Sanctum of Bones lost sector on Io. From the loot cache you will come back down two large, distinct pillars in the middle of the room. They are flat but tilt downward at 45 degree angles from the floor. Follow those across to the other side of the room and a small opening horseshoes to the left into a small room where a few taken were on your way in. There is moonlight shining into the room (on your right if your coming back the way I described). Simply jump onto the stalagmites underneath that opening and jump out. You'll be OOB with a great view of Jupiter. It's pretty easy to maneuver out there, but if you hit a certain spot you wind up rendering the outer textures and won't be able to see into any rooms at all. I tried blinking back through crevices but that didn't work. Hopefully someone finds use for this in a run! I'll post the video URL when the vid is up.

It seems too time consuming imo, but I'll give it a try sometime.
