I kickstarted the game, and the devs sent me a code for a DRM free, standalone version with individual patch capability.

I bring this up because as the game gets patched, exploits used to go faster may be removed.

We can use this to our advantage accordingly - but in discord I was told to post it here. Do we want a preferred version to run on? Is there any interest in testing on the DRM free version Vs. the Steam version?

It depends on what gets removed and whether or not the GOG version is faster. I say leave it for a while, see what happens and what gets patched.

To be noted - This is also the version available on torrent sites. IF it ever becomes notably different, we can point out torrent users easily.

Yeah, I realize now that saying that is kind of a double edged sword until it /is/ different.
