Kickstart timer bug

If you've tried speedrunning Kickstarter you'll see that no matter what you do, the timer never goes below 3.24 .

This is clearer on the speedrun challenge where you can see that the timer will actually wait until 3.24 to end, even if you've killed both guys at, say, 3.19.

In fact I'm reasonably sure I found a faster route for katana mode there too, and I wanted to see if you guys can duplicate the result. Throw the katana right at the start to kill the red guy coming down at the distance in front of you, and kill the second guy by jumping on his head. You'll see the game will wait a bit before finishing the level at 3.24 .

Is this only happening here?

I'm pretty sure it can't get lower than 3.24 SUPERHOT should really have .000 timers to make sure of these kind of things.

I've found so many different ways to finish this level but they ALL end on 3.24. Maybe they're just that close:

The curse has been broken! The newest Speedrun mode run of Kickstart got a 3.23. Feel free to find out how, but now I'm curious as to by how much that really was. Not gonna frame time it myself, but it is quite the feat.

See the funny thing is that he kills the second guy at 2.91, while my old run for example gets him at 2.75

Maybe you just need to kill the second guy at a very specific time (range?) to actually get a lower time at all

Somehow this reminds me of the Frame rule in Super Mario Bros :P

I wonder if it has to do with how he moves after killing the second guy? Like, he walks a bit and then stops?
