I have never seen/heard of anything official. I think 2p matches between anyone who is familiar with the game will be a lot of catching back n forth, not sure how fun it would end up being. Unless you are playing on the same system the winner will likely come down to the lag on whatever program you're using to play together.
Yea heartprestige and I did a vs battle and it went a good 15-20 minutes. Battle of attrition. It's funny but wouldn't make for a good tournament.
