Timer rules are the same, the run ends when you drive your ship into the Sa-Matra.

To be honest I don't understand yet what should be done in the category you outlined very roughly. Do you want to get all obtainable items & then beat the game? Or do you want a 100% category?

I don't really see the point of adding such a category which is basically any% + get all items. The main reason is that it won't be very noticeable different from any%.
You don't need to finish all alien quests to get these items. E.g. in your item list is nothing which indicates that visiting the Yehat is relevant to the run. Or you can get the Shofixi Maidens but then not visit Tanaka to repopulate the Shofixti.

It would require a reroute because you would not have enough fuel to maintain all of the extra items, and the Umgah caster would be interesting to get because you would have to go to Spathi twice. Also, you would need tons of crew which would require even more RU so I think it would be completely different.

A suggestion: Run it, record it & post it here. Then we can see what we talk about.

For the record: I'm aware that there is a reroute involved. That isn't my point though. I don't see the point of adding a category which is pretty much any% + artifacts. I don't want to add ambiguous categories.
Especially since there are already other categories - 100% and AMQ - in discussion.

if it seems too similar we could make a category extensions area for this game and put lots of other ambiguous categories like All Rainbow Worlds, Max Melnorme, Melnorme's Favorite Customer, Speedrun The Words and stuff like that.

I'm not a fan of categories which don't even finish the game (all rainbow worlds, Melnorme-related runs).
Don't get me wrong. It's nice that you love the game so much you think of the fun stuff one could do in it. But I don't think it is necessary to have a leaderboard for these categories. You can run them on your streams and have fun with them, upload them on youtube or whatever. Nobody can prevent that (well maybe apart from twitch staff itself).
If there are multiple people who run the game and want to have such categories we can discuss it again when the time comes.

On another note: what I heard in your 43:54 any% run -> something like low% without getting additional crew could be indeed interesting. We'd have to talk about rules at some point though. E.g. is it enough limiting on "beat the game & recruiting crew is prohibitied"? Because for myself the question comes up if it is even allowed to get new ships, because they have 1 crew (their captain)... or if you have to fight with the ships you get for free (Skiff, Fury, Umgah)
