When I go to Beta Orionis I to start the Umgah battle, the Talking Pet just knocks me unconscious and I wake up to an Ur-Quan. What did I do wrong?

I see what is missing in the guide... the step to visit the Orz & get the Taalo shield. @Cad225Cad225 do you want to update that section?

You have to do this:
Fly to Delta Vulpeculae -> meet with Orz to form an alliance 2-1-4 -> land on Delta Vulpeculae 2c -> pick up Taalo Shield
It is time optimal to do it after one of the time you are at Betelgeuse (1st or 2nd time, whatever you prefer).

I'd recommend you to watch one of the more recent speedruns from cad, enk or me. Cause there might be some route adaptations missing. That reminds me that I need to take a look to the advanced speedrun strats guide to complete that one too.
