does anyone know how to fix the graphical issues on the ROM? For instance the level 1 100% TAS has visible power cells. I can't for the life of me figure out how to fix it.

I think Mcill talks about it in his Past Broadcast before the TAS buuuuut not 100% sure. I know it's the Bizhawk emulator with Glide64 video plugin, other than that I can't remember

ok ill have to look into it thanks! I've been thinking about getting into TASing and figured sssv 99% wouldnt be a bad choice for first one. I mainly want to do a banjo TAS because there isnt a good one out there.

Marxvile thank you! i did a little bit of research about glide 64 and figured it out. i have it working and can start a probably terrible 99% TAS 🙂

I think glide64 is general to many n64 emulators. TASing should be done on Bizhawk, of course. I was thinking about emulated speedruns earlier. It would be best to allow emulated runs for people who cant buy the game or don't want to run PAL. I dont want to exclude anyone just because of hardware issues. We'd have to deal with the emulator's advantages somehow, but I don't think we'll see an emulated any% getting sub 1:20 anytime soon. Thoughts?

I reckon it should get it's own category as we can't judge the difference easily. Then it makes it interesting too as it may encourage more people to try the game whilst penalising them if they can't get it

The settings above helped produce this onwderful TAS that Mcill made:

Totally not advertising it.

hey guys i was playing the game casually and found this clip you can do to get through any door using racing dog if you fire missiles with evo.

Thanks for sharing Jake! I've done that first clip before but never the second one. I also didn't know a setup for it and it looks like you've got one. Is it just firing missiles and then pushing R at the right time? I'll play around with it a bit to see if I can do it with your setup. Not sure if it will end up being useful but always good to know.
Sorry for the delayed response. We're kind of an inactive community atm, especially on the src forums.
