How to calculate IGT (In-game time).
Updated 5 years ago by Tech

This is a guide to help those who wish to include IGT in their Classic submissions.

IGT (In-game time) is not required, but you may include it in your submission if you wish to.

  1. Use this program to calculate the individual round's final times. http://www.grun1.com/utils/timediff.cfm

  2. Input the following > Start time = 5:00.00 End time = whatever time the game displayed after you finished off the final enemy in every round. Start time - End time = Final time. For the Bonus game just use the time displayed after failing it.

  3. Put the individual round's final times into NotePad or a search engine, lay them out with + signs inbetween each final time (ex. https://prnt.sc/lshc7l). Then calculate the Minutes (60 Seconds = 1 Minute or 1:00.xx, 61 Seconds = 1 Minute 1 Second or 1:01.xx).
