Yes! Glitchless can be such an interesting run! Imagine speedrunning a game but with much less skill and fun overall! :D
You can do one, people have done so multiple times. It will never get leaderboards though, so if you want to be competitive that won't be your first choice.
EDIT: Oh, your post was specifically about adding. I'm not a mod, but the answer is no. 99% likely that no more categories will be added to Spyro 2.
no, glitchless is not being added, you may do glitchless runs for the "fun" of it but there is never gonna be glitchless leaderboards.
Speedrunners don't work on commission. If you want to see something like that feel free to do it on your own or hope it sounds interesting enough to someone else that they'll do it.

a long ass time - there are some tricks to avoid using abilities to get extra gems and what not, but like why

hate to revive a dead thread but... im not sure you can go without paying moneybags atleast once, if you want to complete the game atleast semi-normally. i know glimmer is skippable (using the double jump) but i just have this feeling...
