Importing Saves (By Zachlink99) To import a provided Category Extension Savefile there are 2 different methods for the Wii U with homebrew, and 1 for the Wii/Wii U without homebrew.
Method 1 (Wii U) (Homebrew) : -This method uses the Savefile Folder -This is the recommended method if you have homebrew -Ensure that you have access to the homebrew channel on your Wii U
Installing SaveMiiMod -Download the files here : https://github.com/GabyPCgeeK/savemii/releases/download/1.2.0.mod5/savemii_mod5.zip -Create a folder named "savemii_mod" in the following location -SD -> wii u -> apps ->savemii_mod -Place the 3 files downloaded inside of this folder
Placing the Savefile on your SD -Download the provided savefile folder -Place the provided savefile folder named "0" in the following directory -Rename it to 0/1/2/3/4/5 etc if you already have other savefiles -NTSC-U : Place it in SD -> wii u -> backups ->0001000052385045 -NTSC-J : Place it in SD -> wii u -> backups -> 000100005238504a -At the end of the filename : A = JP, 5 = English. -If you do not see a folder with this name create a new one -If you have a "file" instead of a folder simply place it into one of the numbered folders (make one if there isn't one yet) and rename it to "wiimario00" -> "wiimario03" which will overwrite Files 1 -> 4 respectively.
Importing the File onto your Wii U -Open SaveMiiMod and Select Super Paper Mario -Select "Restore" -Select the number of the folder you placed the file in -Select Overwrite -Load Super Paper Mario
Method 2 (Wii/U) (No Homebrew)
Importing the savefile -This method uses the "Data.bin" Savefile -Download the provided Data.bin Savefile -Place it in the following folder -NTSC-U : SD -> private -> wii -> title -> R8PE -NTSC-J : SD -> private -> wii -> title -> R8PJ -If you do not see a folder with this name create a new one -Go to the virtual wii menu if you are on the Wii U, or just the normal wii menu on the Wii -Delete the already existing savefile of Super Paper Mario -Click the SD tab and click "Copy" to move the savefile to your wii -Load Super Paper Mario
