Change in categories

Categories are going to be reorganised since they are understood differently by each runner. For example, Intermediate was being understood as "One suit/Intermediate", "Two suits/Easy" or "Two suits/Intermediate". Also, there should be added "random" category for non Solitaire Collection players.

My idea is to leave current categories (specifying in rules that they all refer to one suit) and add "One suit", "Two suits" and "Four suits" where if you play on Solitaire Collection, you must play on random difficulty for example for Windows 7 players (believe me, I know decent amount of people who are still using Windows 7).

What do you think about it? Or do you have any other ideas for categories?

I think main cats being "One Suit", "Two Suits", "Fours Suits" and subcategories being versions like on the Solitaire board would be good.

That's probably a better idea. But I afraid that making 12 categories (1,2,4 suits x Easy,Normal,Hard,Random) will be too much and most of them won't have any runs.

Why specifically Easy/Normal/Hard/Random? Won't the Microsoft Solitaire Collection have the issue of the small number of seeds that Klondike has? Meaning you can memorize a game and reset until you get it (or manipulate the save file) making difficulty meaningless.

I meant Windows version instead, like either as it is on the Klondike board or "pre-8/10","8/10","Mobile" or "3-XP","Vista/7","8/10","Mobile". Though again at least the XP version has very simple timer based RNG manipulation. Not sure about the others.

Well, I was thinking about Easy/Intermediate/Expert/Random not to completely ruin current categories. There are runs done in Intermediate and Expert categories and I don't think deleting these categories is entirely fair to players who made runs in them.
