As a moderator for the RE2R boards, this is insulting to my eyes to read. This isn't a mod. This a tool that PC runners are allowed to use for their runs. The fact that the tool isn't used on console runs is that it cannot be used to read the game data as you can with PC. SRTs have been used with pretty much every PC version of RE games. Your thread is pointless and isn't going to get you anywhere. |

The tool you're referring to I believe is "SRT", or the "Speedrun Tool". It's fairly commonly used in RE games on PC, and it's not unknown to the player base(s) that this is allowed. The game is large enough in my opinion to gather consensus on these things from the community itself. If the runners didn't want this tool used, they would've spoken up about it by now. That said, please take discussion of this to the RE2 Remake forum itself. This doesn't really belong on the general forum, and is likely only going to pull in people who are unaware what you mean. Locking this. |
