Hard Any% NG+ Dubbed "Any% Queensword"

My argument for this category not just being a Meme.

This run requires you to not only beat the game once, but again on hard mode and beat all hard mode time attacks under par.

it makes Hard mode easier yes, but it also adds more to the fights with the added sigils without the pain and torture true hard mode presents.

It's a lot of fun. the times are not much longer than an actual normal any% are (perhaps faster with optimization) but more importantly its more fun to race.

Suggested Rules

1. Must be done on a New game+ (H2) file starting at the save shrine at the main shrine.
2. Run timer starts at file load (load this file "yes")
3. Only Queensword may be selected, no other beneficial items may be used
4. Use of the sword or Queensword is allowed during the battles.
5. Run timer ends when Wander enters the Pool just like any%

Cons of the run and possible arguments

1. It takes time to set up via the amount of work needed to unlock the items
2. its Hard mode done easy
3. it uses "power" items to cut corners
4. You have extra Stamina and Health allowing for possible quicker fights or safeties

I would absolutely LOVE to speedrun this category. I'm not a huge fan of Any% because of there being no "retry" button and if you mess up, you're kinda stuck. But, I think the Queensword would make up for it. It sounds as if problem 1 would just make the run more exciting to finally be able to do. And problems 2 and 3 sound like things that may attract new runners. It's an easier category. Also, the only "safeties" I can think of are. Swimming to Avion's platforms, possibly holding onto Barba for a longer time since he has a sigil on his back and hand. And maybe holding onto Hydrus for a longer period of time (depending on what strat you use). Yes, these can still be advantage points, but just think about how much slack that the Queensword will make up. There are also three Mega Bonuses about this category.

1. Fun and easier category.
2. You can see the glamorous, beautiful white Agro.
3. A One-Cycle on Pelagia will be much easier.

I fully support this being an official category.

I mean... realistically, there aren't many glitches in the game that are used, to my knowledge. There's the cutscene skip for Valus in Any%(which you have to go pretty fast to achieve when arriving at Valus.), Celosia's Cutscene skip. Hydrus's AI manipulation could be considered one. Most of it is abusing the physics of the game for launches/placement and execution. I suppose if you were really strict, the launches could be considered a glitch(this of course being my opinion. I don't feel think the launches are really a glitch.). So, there really wouldn't be too much of a difference, depending on the strictness. So if you wanted to define the "No Glitches" category, you may want to clarify it a bit in the rule set. That's the other thing, you just listed options, but no rule sets. I think there are reasons the emulator isn't allowed? But I'm uncertain as to the exact reason, aside from it being illegal if you don't own a legitimate copy of the game and rip the ROM yourself, but I digress. However, I am not a mod, just a runner. Just thought I'd share my thoughts with you, Valus(and anyone who may read this). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.

Yeah, a glitchless run would involve a debate on what is and isn't a glitch and that's nasty territory, especially with the nature of some of the janky stuff in this game.
