This might be a little bit of an odd question, but I'm looking to move my runs off YouTube and onto a different video platform. Are there any sort of rules about what platforms are allowed/not allowed that I should be aware of? This is more directed towards the mods, I suppose. But anyone can chime in.

Do you have any specific site in mind already? This makes answering the question easier. Usually we reject submissions where the video platform forces the person to download the video or make an account to be able to watch it.

Twitch allows videos to be uploaded too, despite it being a feature way less popular than streaming.

Twitch or perhaps NicoNico is what I had in mind.

Both are good. I've saw some japanese runners who have PBs posted on niconico and speedrun.com have support for embedding their videos.
