I have updated the rules as followed.

Full game runs

Single segment only.
Any% NG+ will allow all rank perks, DLC weapons, unlocked characters and unlocked weapons.

In-game time is recorded at the end of each level, then added at the end to give a final in-game time.
It will be down to the quickest final in-game time, not the quickest final real time.

The in-game timer needs to be visible at the end of each level

Real time will be used (except from consoles) and starts when you hit the start game, after the loadout, and end when you lose control of Karl at the airplane scene.

(Co-op - Both players will need video proof.)

Individual Levels

Single segment only.

Runs will be filmed from start to finish.
Real Time is optional as the game has an in-game timer.
It's the quickest final in-game time, not the quickest final real time.
The in-game timer needs to be visible at the end of the run.

Any% NG+ will allow all rank perks, DLC weapons, unlocked characters and unlocked weapons.
(Co-op - Both players will need video proof.)

All objectives runs

Both have full game and individual level rules, with these two additional rules:
Both primary and optional objectives must be completed.
The in-game timer and completed optional/side objectives needs to be visible at the end of the run.

If anything of the above is wrong or needs changing please message.

The runs should be timed by the total sum of all IL times but the run cannot be edited and must be a solid run.

Yes, the total sum of all individual levels as a single segment only, forgot to write that.

Because of load times between CPUs, SSDs and console.

"I was on the presumption that for Full-game runs, we record both real time and in-game time. (In-game time only for consoles, unless accounted for)" - i don't think we should require real time. it is cool to know if you have livesplit running during your run, but i don't see that we actually Need it as a rule. i personally think that all runs should be decided via igt and rt is sort of an extra you can submit if you have it.

Also i would like to add a "(NG+)" to the end of the line: "Any% will allow all rank perks, DLC weapons, unlocked characters and unlocked weapons." as i think this describes exactly what NG+ means ^^

btw something i don't really want but should be discussed at least is if we require a timer to be on screen all the time (either with livesplit or just recorded time) to add a layer of difficulty to cheat runs or something (it's a rule in at least one other game i used to run, so it might be worth considering)

idk, what do you think?

"Also, I would like to add a "(NG+)" to the end of the line" It had been discussed before in the forum and can be renamed to any% NG+. (Has been renamed to Any% NG+)
An any% is a fresh start every time, and as I said in the other thread "I don't think people would want to be deleting the save file in their steam folder every time they attempt a run".

"I don't think we should require real time" & "but I don't see that we actually Need it as a rule" I can see where you’re coming from, but you then said "if we require a timer to be on screen all the time to add a layer of difficulty to cheat runs".
The in-game timer looks like the way to manage the leaderboard from now on (unless someone disagrees), real time timer can be captured for an anti-cheat mechanism. (I will address some of the runs with IGT as the same as RT)
Only problem is that consoles do not have the ability for time splits, (not to my knowledge) unless recording it via a capture card, connected to a program like OBS with a timer overlaid.
Also you can record the cursor in a program like OBS so that could be another "anti-cheat".

What are your thoughts?

The leaderboard has been updated, changed and added real in-game times. (Sorry daswasich)

lol no Problem, it's not as if i deserved that place XD

Hopefully another run from you soon? 😉

  xZeKoxZeKo

I'll give another day for any suggestions or discussions then I'll add the rules.

  xZeKoxZeKo

Yes I can, will take a lot longer to run then just primary.

Or do you mean upload a run? Only have a San Celini run, rerouted and recorded?

That's why I said I would look into an All objective category.

  ProspeedfasterProspeedfaster

I meant add a new section for all obj runs.

  xZeKoxZeKo

Yes, I can add it. Did you want it then? Was going to give it a trial.
