No need to delete it, if its faster it will show up over your old run once verified

Even if your ranking does not change, your time still did. SRC (speedruns.com) saves all of your previous records that you submitted. So any major or minor improvement you made will be shown in your history, with your best time being displayed on the leaderboards.
