Hello! So I'm running Super Mario World after 6 months of inactivity but I got a slight question. Before, I didn't provide video because the software I used caused massive input lag, however, it does not now.

But I do have one question: Is a timer required in the video? I use Linux and most timers are not compatible, or cause frame drops. If I use Wine for some of them such as LiveSplits, it drops frames too so I use FramePerfect for mobile. Is that okay for a submission?

You don't need a timer at all. It's good to know what pace you are on but you don't need one. What i want to say with that is: the mods will retime it :)

Since you can always go back in the video and retime your run, I suppose there's not a requirement for a timer on the layout.

It's not needed, but it's always preferable if you do put a timer.
