Hello speedrunners, you may not know me, so let me introduce myself, I'm Flarpyz! I love Super Mario 64 and I love Super Mario Star Road.

I theorized about this route for a while, but was only able to successfully pull it off now, it relies on Mips the Rabbit to clip through the 20 star door.

Here's a text explanation of the route:

1. Collect 8 stars and unlock Gloomy Garden
2. In Gloomy Garden, go to the secret Invisible Cap entrance and jump onto the switch in the level
3. Kill yourself to hop back into the castle courtyard, grab the invisible cap and dash towards Mips
4. Grab Mips, wait for the star animation to play and pick him up again (DO NOT COLLECT THE STAR)
5. Bring him to the 20 star door, put him down on either side of the door, and simply run at full speed "into" him.
6. You should clip right through the door! Beat the level and collect the key.
7. Head into the castle, then into the basement, do a BLJ off of one of the pipes close to the sand stage, and go into some of the oob water
8. Enter the Retro Remix Castle from underneath and beat it.
9. Head upstairs into the room with the cannon, and do a blj off of the chair to go through the wall and onto the oob floor.
10. Do a BLJ off of the invisible wall next to the lava stage and gain enough speed to clip into the cannon
11. Enter the final area and do a BLJ off of the rainbow leading up to the 80 star door, you should clip right through
12. Kill bowser!
