I don’t have a good name for this category, but it seems like a good category.

The aim of this category is to put 124 moons into the Odyssey as fast as possible. Why 124? Because that’s how many are required for any%.

Timing starts on new save file and ends when the “foomph” sound plays when the moons go into the Odyssey.

Edit to explain why it’s good: It’s a fairly short category which doesn’t include many difficult tricks (hardest trick in my route is Sphynx clip) that is long enough to have routing possibilities. It also includes moons which aren’t in Any%, making for a fun new category.

It’s a target for each color

Well it wouldn't be "Fast Any%" because you aren't finishing the game as fast as possible.

I’m doing a run very soon. I’ll be grinding it out today and next weekend.

So just get 124 moons as fast as possible?

Logical kingdom progression would be to end the run in seaside or luncheon

Well it wouldn't really have much in common with a "Fast Any%" unless you'd end by leaving Bowser's kingdom. Still an idea worth considering, though it's pretty similar to 50 moons, 69 moons, or Star% 120 moon

Got a 1:20:35, roughly 11 minutes faster than my any% PB. That was a horrible run with an unoptimised route. https://splits.io/2u05 I ended in Metro.

Also, if it’s similar to those other categories, there could be a “get moons” category with subcategories like 124, 50, etc.
