I think it would be awesome if there was an all captures category.

RULES:
-The timer would start on file select and end when you capture the final enemy.
-After completion, you must show the capture list
-No First Moon Skip, Amiibo, Assist mode, or 2 player allowed

I started mapping this out while I was bored, and the routing looks very interesting. I estimate that a good run would land between 1:30:00 and 2:00:00.

5 runs, maybe eventually just one, and it might get added

I actually kind of like this, it would change the route in a huge way, for example you would go into the deep woods, and you would have to actually go into the area on the moon that is usually skipped by moon skip

Like All purple coins, Moon skip would probably still be used. But yes, like All Purples, you would have to visit a lot of areas

as far as i know unless you go to dark side the moon cave is the only place to get dry bones and chargin chucks

I would love to give it a go but felt like I've been doing to many speedruns lately so maybe tomorrow.

Bowser statue: Only in the cave
I would however recommend to get all of those captures, and the Tropical Wiggler, in the moon cave

I just finished routing and a run will (hopefully) be submitted tomorrow! This turned out to be way more interesting than I previously anticipated, but routing was really fun.

@IwerSonsch Yea I went through the moon cave until the chuck, then warped out and did moon skip. I found it easier to capture the Tropical Wiggler in lost kingdom though, and I dont lose any time.

@Wipeoutjack7 Thanks! While most of the kingdoms have completely different routes, some of them (such as Seaside) stick to the any% route with very little changes. What I found interesting was that the route has to include the New Donk City festival and the race in Snow kingdom, as doing those are the only ways to get the NDC puzzle piece and the Snow-Kingdom cheep-cheep.

The snow cheep cheeps dont spawn until you complete the race, I checked.

Sub 1:30 would be really tough, but 1:40 would be a decent run

I did a run. Can probably be improved everywhere. Missed yoshi capture at the end so i had to go back to mushroom and i killed the sub 1:40

Sand can actually be done using the Any% route for just the Bullet Bill and Cactus capture. Knucklotec's hand can be captured in the Mushroom kingdom (has been done pre-peace in a run), Moe-Eye in the moon cave. Sub 1:30 should be very feasible
