there should be a 'super mario odyssey 64%' (or just smo64% or 64%) where you collect a star (mushroom kingdom moon) with the 64 shirt and cap on. and also should be a sunshine% where you go to seaside kingdom on the beach with the sunshine shirt and shades on
Smo64% is just any% getting extra coins on the way to buy one outfit at the end. So basically any% plus 2 minutes, which nobody would run.
Sunshine% is any% up to Metro then getting purple coins to buy an outfit in Seaside. Again this is too similar to any% to be a decent category.
https://www.speedrun.com/smoce/thread/ze0h9 and ye, in any case purpose sm64% as postgame or something if you want, but from new file you are basicaly doing a completly usual any% just adding 2 minutes of gameplay after the normal run and with sunshine is he normal any% till metro before you get to those points, nothing changes in the previous run
Actually, I don't think the Sunshine outfit becomes available until post-game, so it would be Any% (picking up some Luigi Hint Arts along the way), then buy an outfit and go to Seaside.
