Was just wondering if there has been any thoughts on a run without motion controls. I find playing with the joy cons pretty bad and cant justify spending £60 for a pro controller.

that would be pretty bad honestly, literally a slight movement will cause motion controls, imagine all the accidental motion that will disqualify runs. the motion controls arent that bad actually, you just have to get used to them.

Either get used to motion controls or just play without them. We can't have different categories for every tiny thing.

You can use a gamecube controller with the Wii U adapter. There's no way to use motion controls with it.

Theres also an option to simply turn off the motion controls so theres always that. Also It's not that I have a problem with motion controls it's the fact that the joy cons analouge sticks are pretty bad for precise movement. I also wouldn't consider "no motion controls" a tiny thing as it kind of impacts the run a lot but it's all good was only an idea, thanks for the feedback.
