I think it would be fun to instead of complete 16 endless challenges, we would do 100 instead. The timing would be the same and maybe this only sound realistic on easy. But I would spend ages having fun on that.

In my opinion that's not a bad idea, but I'd rather playing only 16 levels for several reasons.

First of all, the more levels you play, the more your timing will be based on luck and not skill, which removes all of the fun from the challenge. Second, I believe that 100 levels is too boring to watch and play, even more in easy where most of the levels are not the best. Last but not least, and this is just my opinion, long speedruns of games that require Internet to run are not a good idea.

That's why I believe it should stay as it is right now, but let's see what everyone thinks. Have a nice day!

In all case, the main reason of exactly 16 levels is because in SMM1 the "100 Mario´s challenge" where 16 levels, and because of that you can see 16 levels for each part of the infinite way; Is more, thats way in the hardest mode you only have to play 6 until if you can loo at once 16, because in SMM1 only where 6 levels for the super expert mode

Is more, like a subcategories, I think would be more logic to have of "16 levels", "32 levels", "48 levels" and cases like that, well

Generally like the idea, but we shouldn't have too many different lengths as we'll barely receive any runs/category that way.

F.e.: (Super) Expert: Short = 6. Long = 16. Normal/Easy: Short = 16. Long = 32.

I fit on your side @Nikolaus , 16 (or 6 for Super Expert due to the difficulty) is perfectly enough for that kind of category and we're not looking to add any other category on this leaderboard.

Prob over 10k but that take more than 100hrs and we don't want that cuz long speedruns can be kind of dangerous, especially with short breaks.

And why peoples would attempt that? There's no sense.

To put a final word on this thread:

• This is a no for 100 levels in Endless whatever the difficulty is.

• For 16 Super Expert, we can eventually consider it but we need someone finishing a run first.
