I was wondering if using a infinite lives cheat with a game genie is legal for 8-4 IL. I don't have an everdrive or powerpak so I can't use savestates and the input delay on my monitor is really bad so I cant run on emu. I assume it is since thats the only byte the code changes, but I just want to make sure since its not stated in the rules for the category

If you really live in Antarctica, I'd say it's allowed.

It's probably allowed because when you die in a level, you restart at the beginning.
