How bout a category where you can collect no coins we can do No Coins and No Coins Warpless

Is there a way to dodge every single coins? I'm no expert btw

Yes there is if you look it up on youtube there was a big video of a guy who did it back in 2014

The first step to getting a category up is to do a run of it. We won't put up any empty cats at this point

i question the validity of that run. going for bullet bill glitch in 2008 yet can't get down a pipe or jump up stairs?

I dunno why he isn't good at those things, but it's up to you if you want the category.

I had been thinking about doing this anyway, so when I saw this thread I decided to actually do it. It ended up taking way longer than expected to get a completion because I suck so much at doing the jumps in 8-1, but I don't think it'd be too frustrating for someone who actually knows what they are doing.

What are your thoughts on 1,000 Coins Deathless? According to tasvideos there are 1245 distinct coins in game. I think an allowance to go into 2nd quest would be fine though. I'm not sure how viable actually getting 1,000 in 1st quest without dying would be

Jeez Barnowl 1000 coins deathless sounds insane since there are only 245 coins you don't get, but i'm in for putting it in. routings gonna be a bitch

i think the route is going to definitely have to go down every available coin cash pipe, every available coin heaven, all the 16 coin blocks and all the coins in levels. For 1000 in 1st you'd have to get most all of the possible coins i ¤think¤... i'm actually going to try it

Just as I suspected: 1,000 coins is nearly perfect to the final coin in 8-4, at least the way i play. you can finish in like 8-2 or 8-3 but this can be done in 1st quest.

Would you be allowed to get the final coin multiple times? Can probably do it 10-15 times at least before running into time trouble.

yep, you can use the final coin to get up to 1,000 if you don't collect enough. The route is actually pretty simple. I finished in 8-2. I did every coin heaven and every underground zone except 5-2, where going underground skips the more valuable coin heaven. Did hit every hidden coin block, and ofc tried to get as many coins as possible out of every multiple coin block.

How about 1 warp walkathon?

I could add a category with user-defined subcategories. Then you can submit literally anything.
