So I have been doing lots of TASes lately and have gotten down to a time of 4:58.700, but I want to get even lower. I need help on the inputs for 8-3 FPG and the 1-2 pipe clip. Weather it is images, a text tutorial or a TAS movie, they would all help! Thanks!
I wish someone did a 455 human theory with normal not swag setups and inputs shown, would make things much easier.
There is another forum on here about 8-3 FPG. I think how you do it is buffer a jump at the very beginning of the level and release two frames before a full jump. Then just do normal FPG setup at the flag. I could be wrong but I think that’s what it is. And for the 1-2 clip I’m not sure
Buffer a full jump at the start then later on the level release right for two frames midair.
What's so beneficial about that setup? Changes marios subpixel values to be correct before sockfolder? I believe Darbian did 8-3 without it on his wr.
Darbian also did a setup where you have to press B on a specific frame, but a lot of people find the other setup easier to execute. Both end up with good subpixels for Sockfolder.
