noob question about subpixel tricks.

I do intend to read all the forum posts and watch some videos but just had a question, for things like fpg, 4-2 blaz it, bbg, is it just dependent on frame perfect inputs in the current room or do the rooms before it and frame rule you are on impact it? Why is the fpg practice rom so strict that you have to be on the block at an exact frame from start?

Because I watched a happylee tas and he seems to be doing all kinds of crap not keeping much of a pace and gets fpg everytime.

FPG requires sub pixel manipulation and that kind of stuff, the rooms/levels before have nothing to do with it. BBG is required to do different strategies such as starting at different times on the title screen and playing tied to your pb.

ok, that's what I thought, I had read on some site fpg requires perfect runs of the rooms before, which I thought was probably not true, don't think they knew what they were talking about.

They probably meant for 1-1 it requires near-perfect underground.

so the underground does effect it? or just to save the frame rule?
