Are macros in Joy2Key allowed ? I would like to bind a key on my controller to trigger pause buffer, is this allowed ? I don't want to cheat if it's not 😕

It is allowed, have fun 🙂

Only if it does 1 input so if it opens the pause menu and thats it, it is fine

So I can't just say JoyToKey to press jump then escape and escape by just pressing a button ?

(edited: )

No you can't, to be clear macros aren't allowed, you can rebind buttons around but you'll have to input the jump and the two pauses manually

Ok thanks for the reply ^^

By default, macros are banned in speedruns.
You can find games having scripted categories (like Half-Life 2), however when two keys are bound with delay on the same key, it's banned in most cases.
