Hey all,

I was at PAX the other day and I spoke with Tommy Refenes, one of the developers of this game. I mentioned that I had not played SMB but was familiar with the speedruns. He told me that they had just found a bug wherein you can jump slightly higher. His description of the conditions was vague, but it had to do with using the second player controller instead of the first, or possibly starting the game with the 2p controller and then using the 1p controller. It definitely had to do with utilizing both controllers. I also forgot to have him specify if it was platform specific.

I'm not sure if that helps with any speed strats, or even if anyone can figure it out with my vague rehashing of a vague description. Tommy said that I was literally the only person outside of his team that now knows about the glitch, so I at least wanted to share it with my speed friends.

A 2player glitch would be interesting. I didn't know you could use 2 controllers but it's interesting because noone tried with 2 players.

would being able to jump higher even be of very much use anywhere?

@Seven a lot of places and what's even better is it would make josefs super jump abd naijas superdash better too
