Hey,

I started running 16 Star on JP N64 recently and in some levels (namely DDD and BITFS) have a considerable amount of lag that isn't present on VC or Emu.

What is the best way to combat this lag and get the game to run as smoothly as possible?

I am lagging in SSL when using the shell, and it lags ALOT after opening the pyramid in "Inside the Ancient Pyramid".
Any solution to this? I've watched the speedrun strategies for that star, but they don't seem to lag as much as I do. I use the same camera position as them.
