Who was Shigeru?
I know "Shigeru Cycle/Shig Cycle" has to do with him but who is he? I'm not hugely active in this scene, so someone explain plz.
I don't really know, but it might be referencing Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario. (And lead producer od every Mario game I think)
Sorry for the necro. Shigeru was an old speedrunner. He got a 16:16 time in 16 star, and is the first known person to get a 1 star run on console, with an 8:17 from May 4th, 2010.

We would like to announce that VC and EMU subcategories are now active on the Stage RTA leaderboards (under "Levels").
