Hello friends, brand new to speedrunning in general. and Shovel knight is my first game :)

My first run was a speedy 4 hours and 32 minutes.... but shaved about 2.5 hours off that after watching the beginner's guide a couple times during run#2 :)

One problem i have is with LiveSplit. I used the shovel knight presets and selected split on gold count. During the boss rush it stopped counting time as if i completed the game. Any tips or tutorials about how to set up livesplit? thanks in advance!

What exactly do you want to set up? There is a lot of stuff you can do with LiveSplit and a lot of it depends on what you like to see or what you want to show during a run.
