Just wondering if we could add a meme category to the Shovel Knight leaderboard. The main meme subcategory I have in mind is "Fishing Rod%" (a run I'm planning to do where you do Plains of Passage the normal way but the rest of the game must be completed with the Fishing Rod, no shovel, no other relic. However, this excludes things like Treasure mini boss, Enchantress 2, or gaps that have to use pogo to get across. It should be pretty clear what can and can't be done with Fishing Rod.) but this could open up other meme subcategories too. Just wondering.

Things don't have to be on the leaderboards for you to enjoy running them. The community has raced a similar category before. One thing that makes your category impossible is magic use. You'd run out very fast. What we did in our race was use the code that gives you enhanced fishing rod from the start (doesn't use magic). The only requirement was all bosses had to be defeated only using fishing rod (save the ones that are impossible to beat with). Levels were normal.

What about purple armor and the magic chalices? (Also could you link me to that race if possible)

Fishing Rod is technically impossible since both Enchantress fights require the shovel or another relic to attack.

The first one can be beaten with the rod but I mentioned the second phase was an exception.
