I was thinking about making a guide for something such as this, but here's the rundown (In this exact order): Plains, Pridemoor Keep, (in my route I get the compact powder which involves having 40 cipher coins and 3000 gold by the end of Pridemoor Keep but that's just me.) Lich Yard, Explodatorium, Iron Whale, Lost City, (I don't remember exactly, but I think you should get a magic upgrade by this point) Flying Machine (getting staff of striking here first is crucial. (You need at least 9000 gold)), Stranded Ship, Clockwork Tower, then the Tower Stages.
Breadpan - That strat seems pretty close to Tohloo's WR run, but why the 40 cipher coins? Maestro - How do we make it happen?
I have some of the basic strats figured out, but still have a few to practice. Like how does tohloo do that zip or in Plains?
The route can easily be seen from watching a run. Since no one seems to be jumping on making a vid, the best thing you can do is ask questions in the discord.
The zip in Plains is done by going near the screen transition, jump, bomb jump, double jump, bomb jump into the transition, right after the transition finishes, bomb jump back, repeat that step, and you're there.
MechTech- I get the compact powder because of a few reasons. One: It's Shovel, Black, and Specter Knight's worst nightmare if done right. Two: If I miss my target with the 3 bombs, it will explode, increasing the chances of still hitting my target. Three: Fast enemies will most likely run into the leftover cloud, which does more damage. 4: Basically all I'm saying here is that it is just a giant back-up strat if I miss something.
Maestro - I got the zip about 5 times last knight (I have the best puns), I think you hit the vertical and horzontal transitions simultaneously for it to trigger. But for some reason my zip is so much slower than Tohloo's, not sure why. Screen wraps like 2-4 times before I get character control in the new screen. I'll play around with it and ask on discord.
Breadpan - I don't think I've ever used compact powder, even in casual play. I'll have to give it a try.

I have that same problem with the zip. I get the perfect zip about 1 in every 4 times I try it but I really have no solution.
If you're following the inputs I gave, the only adjustments to make is when you're bursting after the transition. It's a slightly tight timing to burst back into the transition before you fall back down.
