I understand that according to the new recording rules, world records have to have audio proof in their video. But um, I actually play the game without sound; the sound kinda annoys my rhythm when i mess up. It’s not like there’s not an option to turn off sound in the game.

This would also invalidate the use of Pico-8 gifs as run evidence, which, to me, seems like one of the more valid proof options. This also seems like a great way to turn away newcomers to the community.
