I believe the idea was brought up to the organizers and then rejected? Someone will need to clarify that for me though, but yeah, I would be so hyped to see it there!

Can anyone say WHY it was rejected? I am confused as to why it would be to be honest...

They get a ton of submissions. They can only accept so many, and I guess they decided this wouldn't be popular/interesting enough. We'll keep applying and hope for the best, I suppose.

Ah, I suppose that makes sense. But hey, maybe we'll get lucky one of these years.
