Blind 100% All-Star Super Race

I figure this is as good a place as any to work out when we want to do this. I'd prefer to do either of June 16th or June 18th, as then my roommate is out and I can go as late as necessary. Otherwise we're looking at sometime between the 9th and the 15th, but I'd ideally like to be done by 1am (GMT+1).

So far we've got Zoton, LP3, Bill and myself. Once we've set a date, we should definitely see if any other runners want to join in. I'm imagining we'll get a Skype call going throughout.

So firstly, can any of us not do either of those two days?

I think either of those days should work for me.

I think either of those days should be fine for me as well. If anything comes up I'll tell you about it.

Any ideas on time? A time we seem to rely on in the #gta community is 11am UK time (whatever that happens to be at the time) so maybe around then? Of course that'd probably be too early for Bill and LP3. Time zones are horrible for this sort of thing!

United Kingdom

I was thinking sometime in the evening. Something like 8pm UK time? But I'm not sure what's best, to be honest. I'll be free all day.

Also, awesome run last night, Bill. Minimise those little driving mistakes and get some nice RNG, and you stand a really good chance of getting WR. Just make sure you get it while I'm watching your stream!

If you plan on finishing by 1am then I doubt 8pm would be a good time to start! Kappa

There's a couple of other people who I mentioned this race to that have expressed some sort of interest, but nothing certain yet.

United Kingdom

1am is only if we can't do one of those days. On the 16th or 18th I'm good all night.

Awesome! The more people we get the better!

Michigan, USA

Thanks! It was a good run but I see where I can cut off a ton of time now.

The only problem I see is that it would have to start at 5PM or 6PM eastern time at the earliest which is 10 or 11 where you guys are.

United Kingdom

Ok, LP3 can do either day, and wants to start at 5 or earlier. In which case let's say we'll do it on Monday 16th June at 5pm EDT (10pm BST), or as soon after that as we can. Very excite.

10pm is quite late for us though, and there's some other people I know interested in racing but not if it's that late, especially for a blind 100% of anything.

Why does Bill need us to start around 5/6pm eastern time? I'm guessing it's work related?

It would be nice to find a day where we could start earlier, mainly because we could get more people in the race!

United Kingdom

If it's down to work we could try some time that weekend (14th, 15th). At the moment I'm fine any time, but will be sharing a room so I shouldn't go too early/late. Bill, would this free up more times?

Hey I finally got this thing working Kappa

So, many more answers on when this is happening? Or are we gonna have to go with that late time? :P

Michigan, USA

I am going on Holiday that weekend of June 21st so I can't do it that weekend but I will be able to go anytime on the 14th.

Michigan, USA

Monday, June 16th at 12pm EST is the date we have finally set!

I've added a 100% category onto the leaderboards if anyone wants to add their race times to it. Although as where we split at the end was a bit confusing, the rule for that isn't clearly defined yet. But feel free to submit your times though!

EDIT: Having the end of your video show that you have 100% in the scrap book would be a good idea.

United Kingdom

Added mine. My favourite definition is stopping time at the start of the final cutscene (that is, the cutscene following Autotopsy III), having acheived 100%. And then proving 100% after, but that isn't timed. This definition seems analogous to "get 100% and reach the end credits", which seems to be general goal of 100% runs.

I guess whoever does the first proper run of this will end up setting the standard to follow, anyway!

EDIT: I've now provisionally routed 100%, and my first practice run ended at 4:33:25. It was a terrible run, so sub 4:15:XX should be easy. I'll see where I can get it before I upload anything, though.

Hi all,

There will be NO AUDIO REQUIREMENT for submissions going forward. This is effective immediately after a community vote.

While not a requirement, we still strongly encourage console runners to include audio in their submissions. Runs that provide no audio may be subject to more scru
