I and a few other runners of this game have been working on routes for new categories, those that do not allow use of the Chaos Control glitch (for example, “Neutral Story, No CCG”). We believe that these new categories will attract new runners to the game, perhaps those who find the currently listed categories that use the glitch unappealing for one reason or another. Because of this, we ask the mods of this game to add “No CCG” categories to the leaderboards.

I would actually enjoy running a "No CCG" Neutral Story. Gives more complexity to the run rather than "Build Hero Meter, Perform easy glitch, Beat level, Repeat until Egg Dealer, Pray for RNG to be on your side."

It would also make the run way more interesting to see the differences in routes between the runners. And it would definitely bring more runners into the game who aren't keen on the idea of using a glitch to beat a level really fast, but using actual skill and knowledge of the level to do so.

What versions of the game does CCG work on?

CCG only works on Gamecube version.

Also, Stormxz1, if you do wish to start running No CCG, message me and I can help with getting you the routes and IL videos and stuff! Even though there aren't any No CCG runs on this leaderboard, there are a few No CCG runners and we have a separate leaderboard off of speedrun.com.

Oh really? If you could send me the link for that leaderboard, that'd be great! I've been running the game for a year or two., but never really liked the idea of using a glitch to beat it, so I've always ran all my runs without using CCG. The only reasons why I haven't posted a run to the speedrun.com leaderboards is because I haven't come anywhere close to a fast enough route, in my honest opinion. The other reason is purely because I run the GCN verson and I don't have the devices needed to actually record my run.
