Some explanation for what happened?

I was gonna make this thread myself but you beat me to it.

Genuine question, can you read your own run's rejection notes? I've explained multiple times in those but I'm not sure if you're just totally ignoring them or if you just can't see them.

Giving you the benefit of the doubt I'll explain again, they're being rejected for now because me and a couple of others are fairly certain they're slightly cheated using a quickturn macro that you yourself admitted to using via XPadder on my stream chat like a month back (why did you tell me that) and then tried to play off as a joke. Having actually seen your runs now, I kinda didn't believe it was a joke. You literally do not drop a single quickturn across every single run you've done of this game, which given how the best runners of this game seem to screw it up pretty often is at bare minimum pretty suspect and at worst a huge red flag.

Other reasons include that the Bad+ and Good+ times were using the "Self-View" option which is only available on NG+ and is not valid for use in NG runs. I told you this when you first asked about it, actually and apparently you just ignored me.

I was content to kinda just leave it as is under the assumption that you'd stop after the first two times I told you to stop using it even though every existing time you had on the board was using it and just leave it at that because you really don't need it to get better, but you kept submitting times using it so I just took down your runs for the time being until shit got sorted. Your runs aren't gone, they're just kinda in limbo for the time being. I don't get why you insist on using it, you're not bad at this game you really don't need it to post good times.

tl;dr drop the quickturn macro and I'd be happy to verify any future PB's you achieve

No, I don't use Punchy, If you and any other user noticed, I play the game using the Walk/Run in reverse.

I hold the SQUARE (button) when I use the L1 and R1 to perform the quick turn for Harry did not rush out to the sides.

I apologize if I seem ignorant of what I'll say, But you (or any other Silent Hill players), which is the difficulty you have to press 2 buttons simultaneously?

I commented about the use Xpadder yes, I USE the Xpadder BUT NOT to perform a quick turn's, I use Xpadder in order to use the two triggers of my controller simultaneously.

As I mentioned, I use the XBOX ONE controller, And I don't know what happens, but in some games when the two triggers are pressed at the same time they simply turn off.

That is, if I use the configured control directly by the emulator (at least the 2 triggers) if I aim and I want to use the viewing angle button, the controller DON'T ALLOW ME.

In this case, YES, I HAVE to use Xpadder.

Speaking about the use of the Self View in a New Game category.

On one occasion you were making a stream, And we were talking about the question of using the Self View in a run NG.

And YOU said the other players MAYBE would not see problems with the use of Auto Vista in a NG run.

And Then I played (using the Self View) and the run was not accepted.

That is, as you had commented that MAYBE would have no problem, I played.

I have not acted in bad faith in the game, I just played with the possibility of using a NG+ option be accepted or not on a NG run.

I do not ignored what you said, because neither you (to that point) Could tell me exactly it would be a problem or not to use the Self View in the NG run.

That's it, and on the issue of macro use (quick turn) was not smart of me to have commented on that.

I know it put my run's in doubt, but I know my abilities in that game.

i tried this just now and it totally fucking works holy shit I'm an asshole, I'm so sorry. Fuck. Wow. Honestly, nobody else knew this, we were just pushing L1 and R1 raw which has a horrible habit of doing whatever the hell it likes because the running strafe has fast startup. Holding square apparently makes it work way WAY easier because walking strife takes forever to start, I did not know this. I don't think anyone knew this but you. Legit good find, I'm really sorry I confused good speedtech for cheating.

Fair enough, I did press you for more details when you brought it up but it was probably just a wacky miscommunication as usual. No big deal I dun fucked up again.

And yeah, I grant you what I said about self-view was "It's not technically allowed but I don't think anyone would care" and then I kinda randomly backpedaled on that and suddenly began caring because I just kinda changed my mind? Just for the sake of consistency, it's still not technically allowed but I'll put the runs back up because I honestly feel like a total fucking twat right now. But don't use it on a NG run in future because it was never technically allowed by the rules of the category I just don't think it infers any real advantage but I'm kinda going by letter of the rules rather than spirit.
