AldrielAldriel Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon Zangetsu Only 0:40:00 PC Link Zangetsu only (Normal, Casual) run. The game is a castlevania-styled game, with 8-bit graphics. It has nice speedtech in the Zangetsu only category, as he acquires new skills when he kills the potential allies he can gain. The Zangetsu only run does not have any major glitches or skips but is still fast because of the skills he gets. The game is really new but has a huge following in the speerun community, especially in the castlevania speedrun community and would make a nice addition to SGU Summer 18. 2 Friday evening(after 19:00, hard to specify, need to work out work schedules) to Sunday.
AldrielAldriel Castlevania: Symphony of the Night Alucard 0:40:00 X360 EUR Link Alucard: All Bosses Symphony of the Night is a dearly beloved 2D Action RPG that has stood the test of time. A speedgame known to many, with a lot of tricky and cool looking movement tech, and frame perfect tricks and glitches that we abuse for our own gain. In the start of the run we cheat Death to keep our gear and remain really overpowered, and get even more overpowered weapons and items later on. Movement tech has us use Human, Wolf, Bat and Mist forms to move quickly around the castles. 2 A filename bidwar has usually been done. A donation incentive could be an Alucard any% run, that run requires around 20 minutes or less. Friday evening (19:00 -> ), to Sunday.

Comfy point-and-click run with exciting driving mechanics and car building. Self-appointed hottest speedgame of 2018. 2 Donation goal thing: Do any% afterwards. Any% exploits a debug/bugged car and skips getting all other needed parts except the megaphone, making it very fast. The run would be around 4 minutes max. Saturday would be best due to work stuff on Friday.

Contains a lot of stuff from different Mario games mixed well together, really good for a flash game. I started running this in mid 2015 so i'm really experienced with this game. I always wanted to show this run off in a marathon, but haven't had the chance yet, so maybe this is the one! 2 10€ in bits = Any% run (est. 10 min.) Just to show fast the game can be beaten without all the junk you have to collect in 100%. PB is 8:33 I will be at Assembly Summer 2018 friday - sunday, so anything from that timeframe.

XaficationXafication Donkey Kong 64 Any% 0:40:00 N64 USA Link This old classic N64 game was a nightmare for kids to beat back in the day. As a speedgame it contains over 1500 documented glitches which make for a very intereseting (typo might be intended), fast paced and mindblowing speedrun that can be completed in less than half an hour. The any% category showcases the bare minimum the game requires to complete, almost conceptually, and shows of a lot of the interesting stuff that are possible in this great speedgame. 2 As mentioned the game is a well documented glitchfest, widely known as the game without walls. As the any% run only shows off a small part of all the cool stuff we do in speedruns, and cool stuff that aren't used but are just as cool, I'm able and willing to do an arbitarily extensive glitch exhibition, showing of the madness of "bad game design" that is DK64 I'll be most likely attending the entire Assembly event, so I'll be available virtually anytime. Preferably not during the Hearthstone BYOC tournament

miklmikl Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus Any% 0:55:00 PS3 USA Link The game is a unique platformer showcasing clever exploits in the level designs, using OoB a fair bit to beat the levels as quickly as possible. Furthermore there are a number of glitches that allows us to skip levels. I'm a veteran runner of the game these days, having had it as my main game for close to 5 years. I've shown it off at several events including ESA and AGDQ, and I would love to do it once more. The game is honestly a really cool and viewer friendly speedrun, its one of the 3 console defining platformers in the PS2 era and it means the world to me. 5 I can do a pretty neat glitch showcase, as the run hides many cool things that isnt shown off in the full run. I should be there for the entire event, allowing for full availability. I will need to take the time off work first however, and I don't have the oppurtinity to do this yet. But I can guarantee that I will be there for the entire event; otherwise it would defeat the purpose of going for me personally.

The game is very broken, and the run really abuses this, utilizing glitches that speed up character movement, allows the runner to clip through solid walls and enter the final line of quests very early into the run. 0 I should be there for the entire event, allowing for full availability. I will need to take the time off work first however, and I don't have the oppurtinity to do this yet. But I can guarantee that I will be there for the entire event; otherwise it would defeat the purpose of going for me personally.

Run features bunnyhopping, boosting with objects, death abuse, fall canceling and other glitches and tricks. There might be issues getting the game to work, but I can do the newer engine as backup if that happens. 0 Any day is fine, but I'll try to be at the event only for the day my run/runs are scheduled for.
