In the rules on the leaderboards here, it states: Use one character for the speedrun. No Cross-character wrong warping.
The intent behind this is probably to prevent people from using previous characters to warp around in the middle of a run, so I would think it could be covered just as well with something like: All characters used must be created within the time of the current run.
I am not sure if there are any situations where using multiple characters would be faster, but I just feel that it is arbitrary to ban the use of them. If I am wrong in my assumption of the intent behind these rules, please let me know.

By using a bell of returning on one character and unloading, the character you load will go to where the first was meant to go. Combine that with your out of bounds to credits, and the game will become literally one minute long.
This is what I had meant by cross character wrong warping. I also wanted to specify one character because of multiplayer.
Gonna go stick the old runs in a category named any% no OOB and keep the existing rules if that sounds alright to you?
I'll verify the run as soon as I know what to do with categories. Didn't think anyone would ever do a run of this game again, haha
Yes, I'm aware that you can transfer positions between characters, but I fail to see how this would further trivialize the run unless it was also allowed to use previously created characters.
