Wondering how different they are because I'm interested in getting to run the Yakuza series but may skip this one and Kiwami since they're not separate platforms and I have them on PS4.

I’m not for sure exactly the differences. However, on PS4 every time you complete a chapter and save it cuts out of the recording. So you’ll have to factor in all that time. Plus, the finale scenes are blocked by the native recording software. Thusly meaning you’ll need to have some sort of setup to capture the ending of the game. Personally I have a run out on PS4 awaiting verification, and the only way I was able to do so was by losing time and crudely recording the ending on my phone in a separate video. It’s honestly sucky that it functions that way, but that’s probably why you don’t see almost anyone in the PS4 category.

I don't do speedruns directly off of the PS4 because I personally find it boring to watch a speedrun with no timer lol so I have it set up with OBS. I just don't have a PC at the moment and that's how I picked up the Yakuza series on PS4 in the first place.

Thing is I'm interested in doing the NG+ runs and yeah, I really don't feel like going through the grind all over again on PC.
