who wants to sit there scrolling and go through EVERY single stream? I really miss being able to hit that button and instantly see if someone is playing a game I follow.
some might find the idea kinda dumb but honestly I think it would be something new that players could enjoy. I myself played the Street 1 NG+ run and thought it was a pretty fun time. If we added NG+, NBA Challenge would then be opened to created teams & players, and be a legend would be open to way more possibilities instead of just using that default guard build. I'm sure obtaining and providing saves won't be a problem. If anyone has any ideas or comments feel free to add them in.. Or If anyone has or would like to do a run just reach out. If no one opposes and I receive a run I will more than likely add the category.

If you want to make an optimal route you'd probably have to figure out exactly how much rep your gaining each game, tourney, nba game, dunk contest, etc. Either that or do what I did and just start off trying to get as much rep as possible. I also figured out during the run that if you decline those stupid rival matches you lose rep -_- The NBA games do your rep really well so if you think you're low on rep before you reach that point you're fine. I got drafted by the Nets and Jason Kidd & Vince Carter pretty much carried me lol.
here are the exact notes from my run: could probably beat this by a hour+ but this run is brutal timer froze about 5 hours in, ran on xbox because dolphin was dropping too many frames.
So, I said f the slam dunk contest pretty much. I started off with two big men and that got me a lot of easy boards early on. Eventually I pick up biggie littles and josh childress (remembered how useful he was in homecourt challenge). I wait so long to upgrade because I wasn't sure how many points I would use to max out stats. I picked up takashi knowing I'd have to upgrade my big man at some point and it got me through the rest of the run. The ending is kinda funky as I realized I could finish with 999 rep without a lot of the remaining tourneys.
Loadless is definitely a strong topic of conversation for street 1-3. As far as V3 goes the the Xbox loads are just another recent discovery I've made of how much better xbox games naturally look and run. Honestly, the loads before and after games could be added together and multiplied by however many games are played to get some sort of consistent loadless time across consoles; however, just like Pilot Panda said at this point a lot of these games are still very dead and major changes like that won't happen unless an active mod(s) deems it worthy. Doesn't really make sense to make big changes like that to a still pretty small board.

so far I've only had one idea that failed. Skipping every night/day will not get you the rep needed. Somehow I'll have to work in dunk contests, tourneys, or the nba challenges to get the required rep. What I've seen so far is that each game give you around 10-20 rep points.
The purpose of this forum is putting down notes for the category in the hopes that it won't be too long for me or someone else to run.
diskospider's tutorial has really good info on anything traffic/spawning related. drifting is something you pick up with repetition I'd say.
Thought I'd explain something for those that might be interested in doing this run. I tried emulating NBA Street V3 on Xbox, GCN, & PS2 and after all that I discovered that the load times differ significantly when skipping the weeks. The current WR done on Xbox is probably unbeatable unless you use an original Xbox Console for the run. For this reason I think the emulator ban should be lifted at this point.
