Well the whole idea of the races was to get new runners into the community and running more, but since I know literally none of the new runners that may be interested in racing, I would say that if they want to do weekly races they can organise it themselves.
If I was for doing a race I would much rather do it with some of the people that were around when I started running this game, and that would just be something set-up between us, not a set race time.
I'll just go get WR with video OpieOP b
For real I think it's down to the mods to decide whether or not to allow the run
This run is invalid as it bopped CtrlTab's WR and will make him cry Kappa b
Yeah, there hasn't been much interest (that I know of) in them for a couple of weeks but they are in the discord server
Right, "weekly races" will be held either Saturday or Sunday at about 8pm UK time, but beforehand PLEASE say in the discord if you are interested, bc there have been too many times where either nobody wants to do the race or people don't realise when it is
We do still have "weekly" races and there are still people doing runs, just people like mango and liquid don't do runs much anymore
Very useful in 100% saying as you cant destroy the boxes
At this point, anyone who wants to join i would encourage them to do so
Because we dont have documentation about it, handbrake glitch:
- Reverse
- Tap handbrake
- Accelerate a lot faster
Very helpful in Smithers and Bonfire etc
most of us agree that a better time would be 8-10pm UK time because of time zones etc
The Super Mod of Wallace and Gromit Curse of the Were-Rabbit has no intention of doing anything with the leaderboards, and i cant get in touch with him to do anything, so I'm requesting to become Super Mod. http://www.speedrun.com/wagcotwr Wouldn't be a big deal if there were other mods, but it's just me and him
Trying to get this consistent, but it is faster than getting the curator launch
So I saw this mentioned in the discord, and I would like to see a revival of the weekly races, but with a fixed start time. So as far as a time goes, i was thinking saturdays, 3pm GMT (10am EST) The way that was suggested to fix the problem of waiting for like half an hour for one person to turn up was to to have a fixed start time, so whoever was ready at that time, the race would start.
the only reason for quitting to the house is to save time on leaving the level, which only really matters in full game, so I think just stick with the door
See for any% ILs can you use a completed file or does it have to be a new game?
Also, are Individual Level leaderboards going to be a thing?
I was thinking about adding another category to run - All Levels. Basically it's like Any% but you also have to go through Mystical Mirror. This is interesting because you have to get the gems from the bonus rooms, which means you need to get the keys in each level. I think it could be a cool category.
Found this during an Any% run. It might be PS2 only, i'm not sure though
