Some of my runs got removed due to this, so I want to fix it. Does anybody know how?
the problem is: I can't find a way to start from a clean file, so if I were to start from the main menu, id just spawn on the last played act. Please let me know if there is a way to do that. Thank you.
I'm not trying to flex. I'm just celebrating an achievement. The final time was a 10:08 I believe
Yo if I could do those floor clips consistently I'd be able to beat that. Possible timesaves (theory crafting time): 04:07- he could've done the box clip which saves some time. 11:04- there's really no point in grabbing the edge here. you could've just gone up. 15:04- It is possible to make that jump instead of going back, meaning a third of a second can be saved. 27:00- stutters and imperfections in the final poles section. If this run was perfect, I estimate a total of 1.7 to 1.8 seconds can be saved, totalling to a time of 26:01/26:02. that's theoretical. pretty good run tho.
Yo two starts I didn't think of. Gonna grind today. Already submitted a 34.going for sub 33
I beat that recently with. 10:10. I can tell that a sub 10 is barely possible. I like your approach to the start in act 3. It's slightly different from mine. I beat your record by 30 seconds due to less deaths and cleaner movement overall. Me and you have a lot of stats in common. You risk it more than me, but I have cleaner movement. Nice run
So I was doing full game runs and accidentally got this. Idk if it saves time. Experiment with it.
yeah my computer struggles with high graphics
thanks a lot! that actually helps, and yes, it cleared out some stuff. guess that's it then
btw, I'm grinding the hecccc out of this record. today, i plan to publish failed attempts, seconds on pace to be the record. channel link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUD-D6ln-GO_T4C2YMRHCGA
it might be. in other games, i saw people clipping through lasers to save some time. I even suggested a similar strat in act 5, though it wasn't proven yet. in other games, they were falling when the clipped through the laser. here we're going up. might just be possible...
tas can do practically anything. part of me agrees with you though. ive been trying different ideas, and none seem to work. if any of you have idease, publish a video explaining it or showing it, and post the link here
i found a consistent strat. i can explain it: first: heres the video: basically, you just go left, and right before you start falling off the corridor, you spam down as much as you can, and basically hope for a good run. with this strat i found, you should get it 50% of the times or more.
that's smart. i dont think its possible to do with down moving platforms, but well leave that for when TASes come in. then well try it
